I plan to start a doll lending library, specializing in international.national/cultural dolls. Over the past five years I have collected several thousand that represent 186 countries. My present focus is on describing, categorizing and storing them. I have added some books to accompany the dolls and would like to be able to lend some in packages.I already have a web page, though I have not been updating it on a regular basis, and it is receiving aobu t45 to 50 hits a day
This is one of my favorite dolls. She is about 15 inches tall and is made of a soft plastic, typical of a group of dolls from the former Soviet Union. I believe that these dolls were designed to introduce people in the different republics to learn more about the other parts of the Union before the system came apart.
